Who operates this website
OEP Navigator is operated by Quote Variety (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This notice describes information collected through this website and the handling of its contact requests. OEP Navigator is a private insurance information service, not a government agency or a government-certified Marketplace Navigator. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by HealthCare.gov.
What we collect
The quote request form collects your ZIP code, city, state, age group, main recent life change, preferred coverage timing, tax-household size, estimated household income, first and last name, email address and phone number. You can choose “Not sure” for household size or income. These self-reported answers help us understand your inquiry; they do not determine eligibility or calculate a premium. We also record submission time, consent wording and version, page version, browser information, the IP address supplied by our hosting service, and campaign details from the link you used. Privacy requests include the phone number you provide, request type, any correction details and the outcome.
We use your IP address to suggest an approximate ZIP code example in the ZIP field. We first use location information from our hosting provider, Cloudflare. If that is unavailable, your browser may contact IPWhois for a country and postal-code lookup. IPWhois receives your IP address and basic browser request information, but this lookup does not send your name, contact details, form answers, cookies or page referrer. This changes only the placeholder; the example is not saved as your coverage location. You enter and confirm your own ZIP. We do not request GPS or precise device location for this feature.
We use Zippopotam.us to suggest a city and state from your ZIP code. Our server sends the ZIP code and country to that service; it does not forward your browser IP address or contact details. You can correct the suggested location.
We do not ask for Social Security numbers, payment details, full dates of birth, diagnoses or medical history. Please do not provide them in a privacy request.
Form recording and consent documentation
After you select Continue on the location step and agree to the recording notice, ActiveProspect’s TrustedForm records the page content and your form interactions, such as clicks, field changes and timing, along with browser and IP information. We use this record to document the disclosures and consent process and help prevent fraud. Recording is limited to this form session and stops when you close the form or successfully submit it.
Name, email, phone and location fields are marked for masking in the replay. Hashed email and phone values may support matching a certificate to a request. Quote Variety separately receives the contact details you submit. We save the certificate reference and a summary of interaction counts and duration; that summary contains no field values.
If JavaScript is disabled, a TrustedForm fallback image on coverage-request pages sends basic request information, such as your IP address and browser headers, to ActiveProspect. It does not record form interactions or generate a certificate.
Recording permission is separate from the marketing-contact checkbox. You can close the form without agreeing to marketing. See the TrustedForm privacy notice.
How information is used and disclosed
Quote Variety uses this information to respond to your insurance inquiry, document consent, honor privacy and contact choices, understand campaign sources, protect the website, resolve disputes and meet applicable legal obligations. Information comes from you, your browser, and the campaign link used to reach the site.
Cloudflare provides website hosting and storage. ActiveProspect processes the consent-session information described above, Zippopotam.us supplies postal lookup data, and IPWhois provides the approximate IP-based ZIP example when hosting location data is unavailable. A contact-system provider may receive a request to help Quote Variety respond. We may also disclose information when legally required or to protect legal rights and the security of the service.
The contact permission on this site names Quote Variety. It does not authorize independent sellers or unnamed marketing partners to contact you. The site's contact-delivery feature is limited to providers acting for Quote Variety and does not authorize onward sale, sharing for cross-site advertising or independent marketing.
Contact permission and enrollment
A contact request does not apply for insurance, enroll you in a plan, change existing coverage or authorize access to a Marketplace account. Enrollment assistance requires its own permissions and review. Marketing consent is not a condition of purchasing insurance.
Retention and security
Retention depends on the purpose of the record: completing an inquiry, documenting consent or a privacy choice, applicable legal recordkeeping periods, resolving a dispute, or investigating a security incident. The California notice describes the criteria by category. Limited suppression records may be retained to keep a withdrawn contact permission from being reinstated accidentally.
TrustedForm recordings follow ActiveProspect’s retention rules, including shorter periods for unfinished forms. Long-term certificate retention is not currently configured. Saving a certificate link does not keep the recording indefinitely.
Forms use HTTPS and administrative access to saved requests is restricted. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Manage your information
Use this form to stop marketing contact, request access to all information held about your submission, request a correction or deletion, or opt out of sale and sharing. Available rights and exceptions depend on applicable law. California residents can read more in the California privacy notice.
A stop-contact or deletion request immediately suppresses the number in this site's contact-delivery system. Deletion is a separate process and is not completed by that suppression. Access, correction and deletion require review and may require identity verification. We do not disclose or change a record solely because someone enters its phone number.
Sale/share opt-outs are processed without identity verification and are separate from marketing withdrawal. Opting out does not cancel a callback you requested. You can also tell a Quote Variety caller to stop, or reply STOP to a marketing text. A request here cannot recall a call or message already queued outside this website.
Other websites and policy changes
Linked websites, including HealthCare.gov, have their own privacy policies. We will post material changes to this notice on this website with the date of the latest update and provide any additional notice or choice required before a new use of your information.
